Description
The Manager will lead the development and growth of the University's portfolio of executive education, continuing professional education, customised corporate training and market-facing short courses. The role owns programme strategy, business development, pricing, financial viability, quality and client relationships, while programme-level administration is undertaken through assigned programme staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement an annual executive and professional education plan with clear programme, enrolment, revenue and quality targets.
- Identify market needs and prepare business cases for new executive programmes, professional certifications, short courses and customised training.
- Work with academic departments and subject-matter experts to develop relevant curricula, learning outcomes, delivery models and faculty arrangements.
- Build a business-development pipeline comprising corporate organisations, government institutions, professional bodies and development-sector clients.
- Prepare client proposals, programme concepts, budgets and pricing, and negotiate customised training engagements.
- Manage programme economics, including fee structures, faculty honoraria, direct costs and contribution margins.
- Oversee programme promotion, participant recruitment and conversion in coordination with Admissions and Marketing.
- Monitor participant feedback, learning outcomes, client satisfaction and repeat business, and implement quality improvements.
- Maintain a portfolio dashboard and provide management with concise reports on pipeline, delivery, revenue, performance and emerging opportunities.

Requirement
- Minimum 16 years of education in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Education, Public Administration or a related discipline; a relevant Master's degree will be preferred.
- At least five years of relevant experience in executive education, professional training, corporate learning, business development or programme management.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, marketing or delivering revenue-generating professional programmes or customised training solutions.
- Strong proposal development, budgeting, pricing, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with senior professionals, faculty members, clients and internal departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound commercial judgement and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Relevant certification in project management, learning and development, training management or business development will be an advantage.
